Please attend to share with us what your City budget priorities are for Mission Beach!

SDPD 15th Annual Women in Blue Luncheon - This annual luncheon, was created to promote diversity and elevate inclusion by honoring the accomplishments of female leaders and celebrating their impact in the public safety sector. This high-profile event is attended by SDPD leadership and employees, community and government leaders, members of academia and the media, Girl Scouts and/or female students who attend schools located in San Diego’s Promise Zone, and members of the general public. Our new Northern Division Captain Makwana is one of the honorees. The luncheon will be held at 11:00 on Thursday April 2nd for more information and tickets please use the below link

Black Tie Bingo - Shoreline Community Services is holding it's 4th Annual Black Tie Bingo Fundraiser on Friday April 17th. This is a fun way to support the work they do in our beach area communities. Please use the link below for more information and tickets

City of San Diego Resident Budget Survey - The Mayor's office has launched a resident budget survey to ask the public for their input as the Fiscal Year 27 budget is being approved. Please use the below link to participate

Please consider showing strong support for the San Diego Police Department in your budget priorities. Their budget was decreased $11 million in FY 2025 and then another $7 million in FY 2026. SDPD under the leadership of Chief Wahl has proven it is managing it's resources wisely. For the first time in recent history the de department is expected to meet it s overtime budget this year after achieving approximately $6.5 million in savings. Continued budget reductions will inevitably affect services, staffing and the SDPD's ability to meet our community's needs.

National Beach Clean Up Day - April 25, 2026 at Belmont Park with Don't Trash Mission Beach - SAVE THE DATE!
