Holiday updates and events

The Board of the Mission Beach Town Council wishes everyone a happy holidays. There will not be a general meeting in December as we are traditionally dark in December. Since the January Board meeting falls on a holiday it is being moved back a day to January 2nd and will be zoom only (zoom link will be sent out later.) The next General meeting will be on Wednesday January 8th at 6:00 pm in our normal location, the community room at Belmont Park.

DECEMBER EVENTS

Saturday December 7th.

5th Annual Mission Beach Community Toy Drive and Beach Cleanup benefiting the San Diego Military Outreach Mission (MOM) https://sandiegomom.org/ who serves the families of junior enlisted men and women who are serving our country. This is a great way to say thank you for their sacrifices in service to our country. The Plunge will give everyone who donates a new unwrapped toy a free day pass! You may also drop off your toy donation daily at the Plunge through December 23rd. Donations may also be dropped off at the Mission Beach Women's Club (840 Santa Clara Place) on Monday December 9th between 5:00 and 7:00 pm or you can shop online at our Amazon Wish List using the below link and your donation will be delivered to MOM. https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/3UVBKTAJ54IQD?ref_=wl_share

Wednesday December 11th

It's that time of year again to decorate sign posts through out Mission Beach. The Mission Beach Improvement Committee will be meeting Wednesday Dec 11th at 10 am at The Point 1010 Santa Clara Pl.  We will divide up into teams and make Mission Beach Merry! All are welcome, please tell your neighbors!
