District 2 City Council Candidate Forum -
The Ocean Beach Community Foundation, Pacific Beach Town Council, and Mission Beach Town Council have joined forces to present the...
San Diego City Council District 2 Candidate Forum:
Coastal Issues for the Beach & Bay Communities.
All members of the public are invited to join us on Thursday, May 14th at Paradise Point Resort & Spa from 6:00PM to 8:00PM. The San Diego City Council District 2 Candidate Forum is a moderated, structured event where candidates running for San Diego City Council District 2 will answer curated questions from a panel of community leaders, giving residents a clear, side-by-side look at who is running to represent D2.
Attendees will be able to hear directly from all seven qualifying candidates on the issues impacting all of our San Diego communities, as well as their visions for our city's future. These issues will include but are not limited to: housing & zoning, affordability, environment, homelessness, city budgeting, infrastructure, public safety, and more.
Organized by a coalition of beach and bay community organizations, this forum brings together voices from Ocean Beach, Mission Beach, Clairemont, Pacific Beach, and Point Loma: neighborhoods that share coastline, culture, and a stake in who leads District 2.
Watch SD City Council District 2 candidates answer questions live — moderated by community leaders ahead of the June 2 primary. RSVP today for free to secure your spot at this event:
Can't be there in person? Submit your questions in advance and they may be selected by our moderators:
