Community Update



South Mission Water Shut Off

Here is important information about the Mission Beach Water & Sewer Replacement project. Please share this information with others who you feel may have an interest in this update.

Water service to some properties will be temporarily turned off

Thursday, May 4

8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Impacted properties include:

802 - 833 Capistrano Place

810 - 836 Avalon Court

805 - 839 Balboa Court

805 - 837 Brighton Court

804 - 836 San Luis Rey Place

2715 - 2816 Bayside Walk

2732, 2764 Bayside Lane

2719, 2735, 2755, 2777 Mission Boulevard

About the water shutoff:

· Water service will not be available throughout the shutoff time; please plan accordingly.

· Access to homes and for emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times.

How the area will be impacted:

· Temporary road closures, traffic rerouting, parking and access restrictions will be in effect during work hours due to the presence of construction equipment and materials.

· Noise from construction equipment may be heard.

· "No Parking" signs will be posted at least 72 hours in advance. Vehicles in violation of signs will be towed.

May General Membership Meeting

The May General Membership Meeting of the MBTC will be held at 6:00 pm on Wednesday May 10th in the Community Room at Belmont Park (above the arcade). During the meeting the membership will vote on the resolution passed by the MBTC board on April 19th supporting the San Diego Police Department's use of Smart Streetlights and Automated License Plate Readers.
