Thank you for your interest in running for a board position in the upcoming Mission Beach Town Council elections. Per our bylaws, all interested persons running for a officer position must be a member in good standing by August 1st of this year; note, this requirement doesn't apply to area reps. Additionally, those interested in running for the office of the President or First Vice President must have been a board member for one term, not necessarily the previous term. Waivers may be granted for these eligibility requirements by a board of directors vote only if there is a failure to find a qualifying candidate for the given position.
